Matthew 22:37-39:
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
Matthew 28:19-20:
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
At Central Worship Center, we want to Love God with all our hearts, and love people! Everything we do flows from these two commands. We couple this with what Scripture calls the Great Commission, where we are compelled to share the Gospel of Christ. Between these two commands and the comissioning we will do everything possible to win the people of Central, LA and the surrounding areas to the Lord!
LOVE GOD - We actively seek God. We put forth every effort to submit to His plan and purpose for our lives. Living holy and seeking God shows our love for Him. We couple this with engaging worship and messages to better understand the heart of the Father.
LOVE PEOPLE - We want to shine the Light of Jesus to everyone we can. We believe every person is made in the image of God, and has a purpose. Regardless of where people are, or where they come from, we will love them and serve them. We do this through evangelism and outreach opportunities.
MAKE DISCIPLES - Through Discipleship, we equip followers of Christ to grow in their faith, discover their purpose, and walk confidently in the calling God has placed on their lives. We are committed to advancing the Gospel—locally and globally—by raising up leaders, planting seeds of faith, doing outreach projects, and making disciples of all nations.
